4th Annual Rivalry for a Reason Fundraiser!
For the fourth straight year, Edgar and Marathon High Schools will be teaming up December 9 through December 16 to raise money for each of our communities.  This year’s theme is “Helping Hands”.  This year the two student organizations will be raising money to help members in their own communities!  Edgar and Marathon FBLA chapters will be selling paper hands for $1.00 each to students and staff in their respective schools.  Any person who donates $10 or more will receive a free t-shirt, with the goal that everyone at the December 18th game will be wearing a “Helping Hands” school t-shirt.  As an added incentive, the school that raises the most money will pick the opposing principal’s and administrator’s apparel at the Edgar vs. Marathon Boys’ Basketball game, in Marathon, December 18th.  There will be a halftime presentation checks to the each school representative.

Enrollment causes shift of programs/classes
Several room changes have taken place as a result of fluctuations in enrollment at both the 3rd and 5th grade levels. Mrs. Sanford’s 5th grade class has moved upstairs into the old “tech ed” room. Much of the tech ed equipment has been moved into the south side of the art room, as both Tech Ed and Art will share a room. Tech Ed will be taught at both the beginning and end of the day, with Art being in the middle of the day. Mrs. Kroeplin’s 1st grade class will move into
Mrs. Sanford’s former room. Mrs. Krautkramer will be teaching a second section of 3rd grade in Mrs. Kroeplin’s former room.
