Angela Woyak has served students and learning communities for over 25 years with 22 of those dedicated to leading schools in both Wisconsin and Wyoming. As a former Principal and Director of Student Services, she has inspired students, families, and educators with her integrity, drive, humility, and unwavering commitment to public education. Mrs. Woyak is recognized as a transformational and visionary leader, dedicated to collaboratively creating a positive school culture that fosters confidence, supports well-being, and ensures high levels of learning for all students.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Woyak has fostered relationships based on trust, collaboration, and common student-centered goals. While doing so, she created respectful, innovative, and high-achieving school environments that are responsive to interests and needs of students through multi-tiered systems of supports. She and her teams consistently achieved outstanding educational outcomes and built a reputation for exceeding expectations as evidenced through state accountability systems and National Blue Ribbon recognition. Her leadership philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student can succeed by leveraging the collective expertise of dedicated teams of educators and the larger school community.
Across leadership roles, Mrs. Woyak has coordinated multiple organizational systems, authored numerous grants launching innovative programs, led policy committees, collaborated with higher education institutions, businesses, and various community agencies, coordinated and led professional development, managed school and district level budgets, conducted facility and safety studies, managed dispute resolution, and mentored aspiring administrators. She has been a strong advocate for public education, ensuring alignment between district goals and community values while managing fiscal resources responsibly.
A native of rural northcentral Wisconsin, Angela Woyak is eager to bring her wealth of experience and proven track record in school improvement, finance, curriculum development, operations, and organizational leadership back to rural Wisconsin, where schools are the heart of their communities. Passionate about fostering growth of both students and communities, Mrs. Woyak seeks to contribute to the success of a district like Marathon School District, with a focus on nurturing the academic, personal, and character development of every student.
