We fully support the use of web accessibility standards and implementation of practices to achieve a state of compliance. We redesigned the website launched in August 2025 to meet priority 2 requirements of the WCAG 2.0. Meeting this standard is commonly known as Level AA compliance. We will be reviewing the site to maintain that level of compliance.
When commissioning new websites and maintaining the accessibility of existing sites, we intend to follow best practice guidelines and meet Level AA compliance as well as U.S. Federal Government Section 504 Guidelines.
It is the intent of the Marathon City School District that the information on its website be accessible to individuals with disabilities in compliance with the requirements of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 along with accompanying statutory regulations.
